Terms of Sale, Digital Guides
G1What this page covers
These terms apply to every digital guide sold directly on alepalombo.com (each a "Guide"): the written guide, together with any slide deck, recording, or other material bundled with it as described on its sales page. They sit alongside the general Terms for Online Content, which continue to apply to what the Guide says; where the two differ on a point about the purchase itself, this page governs.
By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read these terms and the Privacy Policy, and that you are buying for your own personal use.
G2Information, not advice
A Guide is general information and personal opinion, prepared with care and on a best-effort basis. It is not legal, tax, immigration, financial, or investment advice, not a solicitation or an offer of any kind, and no professional-client relationship arises from buying or reading it. Programmes, prices, and rules in the fields covered change constantly; every Guide states the date to which its figures are current, and some of it will inevitably become outdated.
Before acting on anything that matters, confirm it with qualified, licensed advisers who know your situation. Alessandro Palombo's roles and financial interests in the sectors covered are disclosed in Part E and, where relevant, inside the Guide itself.
G3Who sells it, and how you pay
Payments are processed by Stripe. Where a purchase is processed under Stripe's Managed Payments service, Stripe (or the relevant Stripe affiliate) acts as the merchant of record: it is the entity that sells you the Guide, collects the price and any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST, issues the receipt, and handles refunds and payment disputes. The Guide itself is created and delivered by Alessandro Palombo through Nation One LLC, which remains responsible for its content and for your access to it.
Where a purchase is not processed under Managed Payments, Nation One LLC is the seller of record and Stripe acts only as payment processor. Either way, your card details are entered on Stripe's pages and are never seen or stored by this site.
Prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable taxes unless the checkout page states otherwise. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
G4Launch pricing
A Guide may be offered at a launch or promotional price below its regular price, as stated on its sales page. Promotional prices can end or change at any time without notice. Anyone who bought at a promotional price keeps everything the purchase included, including updates. No refund or credit is due if the price later changes in either direction.
G5Delivery and access
Delivery is immediate and electronic. On payment, the Guide opens on alepalombo.com and an access link is emailed to the address you paid with. The link, and the cookie it sets, are personal to you. You may open the Guide on any number of your own devices. You may not share the link, the cookie, or the content with anyone else, publish or resell it, or use it to train or feed automated systems. Access may be suspended where sharing or abuse is evident.
"Permanent" access means access for as long as the Guide remains published on alepalombo.com, and in any event for not less than twelve months from purchase. If the Guide is withdrawn or moved to another platform, reasonable notice will be given and, where practicable, a downloadable copy made available. Short interruptions for maintenance or technical failure do not breach these terms.
If you lose the link, alepalombo.com/access re-sends it to the address you paid with.
G6Updates
Guides are updated in place when the programmes, prices, or rules they describe change materially, and a short note is emailed to buyers when that happens. Updates are made in good faith and at Alessandro Palombo's discretion; no particular frequency, scope, or continuation of updates is promised, and an update never converts the Guide into advice.
G7Right of withdrawal and refunds
The Guide is digital content supplied immediately. Where consumer law grants a right of withdrawal (for example the fourteen-day right for consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom), you expressly request that delivery begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access has begun. This consent is recorded at checkout.
None of this limits rights you cannot waive under the law of your country of residence, including rights concerning content that is defective or not as described. If a Guide does not open, is materially not as described on its sales page, or you were charged in error, write to ale@alepalombo.com from the address you paid with, within fourteen days of purchase, and the matter will be resolved, by fixing it or by refunding you, as fits the case. Where Stripe is the merchant of record, Stripe may also process refunds directly under its own policies.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. Chargebacks raised without first writing are treated as abuse of the terms.
G8Intellectual property
Every Guide, including its text, structure, tables, diagrams, decks, and recordings, is protected by copyright and remains the property of Alessandro Palombo or Nation One LLC. Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use the Guide for your own information. Brief quotation with attribution is welcome; reproduction, redistribution, translation, or commercial use of any substantial part is not, without written permission.
G9Emails after purchase
After purchase you receive transactional emails needed to deliver the Guide: the access link, and any re-sent link you request. You may also receive a short series of emails about the Guide you bought, related updates, and the wider publication; each contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access to the Guide. Details of what is collected and by which providers are in the Privacy Policy.
G10Disputes, changes and contact
The dispute resolution and governing law clause in F2 applies to purchases under this page, subject to any mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence. These terms may change; the version in force when you bought applies to your purchase, and the current version is always at this address. Questions: ale@alepalombo.com.
